AYURVEDIC YOGA MASSAGE
Ayurvedic Yoga Massage is a unique and holistic form of bodywork that combines the principles of Ayurveda (an ancient Indian healing system) and traditional yoga techniques. It is a deep-tissue massage that incorporates stretching, acupressure, and yoga-like movements to provide a therapeutic and rejuvenating experience.
During an Ayurvedic Yoga Massage session, i will use my hands, feet, and bodyweight to apply pressure and manipulate your muscles and joints. The massage is performed on a mat on the floor, and the client remains fully clothed throughout the session.
This type of massage aims to balance the body, mind, and spirit by releasing physical tension, stimulating energy flow, and promoting deep relaxation. It can help improve flexibility, relieve muscle stiffness, reduce stress, and enhance overall well-being
THERAPEUTIC MASSAGE
Therapeutic massage is a type of massage that focuses on providing physical and psychological benefits to the recipient. It involves the manipulation of the body's soft tissues to promote relaxation, relieve muscle tension, and improve overall well-being.
It can help reduce pain, improve circulation, increase flexibility, and enhance immune function. Additionally, therapeutic massage can have a positive impact on mental health by reducing stress and anxiety, promoting better sleep, and boosting mood.
DEEP TISSUE / SPORTS
Deep tissue massage is a type of massage therapy that focuses on targeting the deeper layers of muscles and connective tissues. It uses firm pressure and slow strokes to release tension and alleviate chronic muscle pain and stiffness.
During a deep tissue massage, I may use my fingers, hands, forearms, elbows, or even specialised tools to apply pressure and manipulate the deeper layers of muscles.
The goal of deep tissue massage is to break up adhesions (knots) in the muscles and fascia, improve blood flow, and promote better range of motion. It can be particularly beneficial for individuals who have chronic muscle tension, postural problems, or sports-related injuries.
FACE MASSAGE
Face massage is a wonderful way to relax and rejuvenate your skin. It can help improve blood circulation, promote lymphatic drainage, and reduce tension in the facial muscles.
